首先，免费图书馆的建立可以使更多当地的阅读爱好者能接触到各种各样的知识all kinds of knowledge，有助于他们增长知识，拓宽视野expand their knowledge and broaden their mental horizons。图书馆有很多人坐在一起阅读，这样人们能够享受到良好的读书环境和氛围enjoy fine reading atmosphere，不会被其他事物打扰without being interrupted by other things。相比之下，网络阅读可能会因为不断插入的广告等而分散人们读书的注意力reading through the Internet may distract people due to constantly inserted advertisements。另外，对于很多不太会使用电子产品的人们比如老年人，还有生活在贫困落后地区的人们来讲those who live in poverty-stricken area，在图书馆阅读会是很好的选择。
Other People---
不可否认，网络尤其明显的优势。首先，通过网络接触信息，人们可以随时随地找到他们想要浏览的内容acquire information people want anytime and anywhere，同时，网络上的信息大部分都是最新的updated，这样能给人们带来很大的方便bring huge convenience to individuals；除此之外，如果人们能通过网络获取信息或者是阅读，这样就能减少修建图书馆的成本reduce the cost of establishing libraries，不仅能节约开支，而且能节省土地资源can not only save expenses, but also save land resources。
My Opinion—
网络给人们带来的好处不可否认，但是很显然，很多人都有阅读的需求，并且很多人不太习惯网络阅读cannot get used to reading online，因此图书馆的建立并不是浪费资金。无论是网络还是图书馆，人们可以根据自己的实际需求和偏好来做出适合自己的选择people can make their own choices according to their actual needs and preferences。
